In the study-year 2009/2010, 743 young people finished comprehensive schools of Ventspils municipality. The number of pupils having finished Grade 9 is 383, but 360 pupils finished Grade 12. |

| Educational Funds |
|
Two funds have been established by the City Council in Ventspils for enhancement of educational work:
- the Ventspils City Fund for Education Innovation;
- the Ventspils City Fund for Assistance with Further Education for the talented youngsters from the low-income families.
